This is a hands-on role with real impact, offering the opportunity to shape our Business Intelligence capability while supporting both operational and strategic decision-making.

Core responsibilities:
Data & Analytics Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for data and analytics across the organisation, providing expert guidance and insight to stakeholders at all levels.
BI Development: Support the development and implementation of BI tools, reporting frameworks, and data processes that enable effective analysis and decision-making.
Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data through robust validation, cleansing, and governance practices.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Deliver financial and operational analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.
Commercial Insight: Produce analysis that helps drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and identify commercial opportunities.
Business Partnering: Work closely with operational and commercial teams to understand challenges, measure performance, and provide actionable insights.
Reporting & Recommendations: Translate complex data into clear, meaningful reporting and recommendations that support both operational and strategic decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify emerging reporting and analytical requirements arising from changes in customer behaviour, business processes, or new data sources, and develop scalable solutions to address them.
Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools that provide stakeholders with timely and reliable information.
Trend Analysis: Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within business data, presenting findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
Skills and qualifications:
Strong analytical background with a degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write efficient, scalable, and reliable queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation.
Experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, with at least 3 years' experience delivering insights in a BI, Data, or Analytics environment.
Data management expertise, including working with multiple data sources such as relational databases, APIs, and flat files, with a strong understanding of data quality, governance, and lineage.
BI and visualisation tools, with hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and data models using tools such as Power BI, Metabase, or similar platforms.
Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and translate analysis into meaningful business recommendations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings in a clear and actionable way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to challenge assumptions, investigate root causes, and independently identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience working with operational and commercial teams, partnering closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and drive data-led decision-making.
Interest in sports, gaming, or online casino industries would be advantageous.
